Duftmarke Walk, 14.Nov 2010 - Munich/English Garden! ;o)
"Oops we did it again"- every four weeks we are meeting up with other dog owners to go for a hike or a walk all together!
This time, we chose the English Garden for our Pack run!
In total we had a pack of ten dogs, males and females, fixed and intact ones....tall or small, just a big bunch of dogs! ;o)
We got so incredibly lucky with the weather, as we had about 20 Degrees (in the middle of november) and the whole town was up and running to get a bit of sun. And mind yourself at least half of them were in the English Garden - the green lounge of Munich. During this 6 hour walk our dogs had plenty of time to "read the newspaper", leave some scents themselves, play and pace over the fields! ;o)
All four-legged strangers were interrigated very closely, and more than once we had to stop and hand strange dogs (which obviously wanted to join out pack) back to their real owners!
After a very enjoyable break at the Aumeister, a very nice and romantic beergarden, we were heading back towards the Odeonsplatz. While the humans slowed down a bit, the dogs were still bursting of energy...and took of in a wild chase, again ;o)!
Only Lennox got a bloody nose, because he just would not leave Anuk and her stick alone, but besides that all stayed very peaceful, and not only once pedestrians asked us about our big well behaved pack of dogs! Just one thing to say about that - all of us have well socialised dogs! ;o).
It was an awesome day, with good friends, the chance to make new ones and plenty of fun for the dogs - we are really looking forward to the next time!! ;o)
